Million Dollar Baby By Clint Eastwood Movie Review

The film Million Dollar written by Clint Eastwood describes the significance of self being.

Success in life are often said to be a mirror to individual abilities. Self-belief features a significant impact on our lives, yet it can’t be taught in schools. This is because discretion related to being confident or not. The more a person has self-belief, which in other words is mentioned as confidence, the much more heights of success one is deemed to realize (Denzin, Athens, & Faust, 2011). In determining the goals that we attempt each day to realize, confidence makes a great impact on our pleasure.

Describing Million Dollar Baby as just a boxing movie would serve it an injustice. The purpose of the film is not for instance a boxing career as a person may illustrate. Hilary Swank acts as a convincing female boxer who tries to be considered as a component of the ring. A story of redemption ensues about how a person can connect with a stranger to make an indissoluble bond

Swank who acted as Maggie begs to be trained as a boxer by Dunn, Clint Eastwood (Scott, 2004). Dunn denies her request saying that he does not train girls to fight. In spite of being dismissed by the trainer, her self-belief is well enough to triumph over deride. Maggie puts all her efforts to make Dunn decide ready to train her. Being her first female student, we see how Maggie is self-assured and strong-minded to become the finest boxer.

Million Dollar Baby does not reflect violence, as what other boxing movies depict. It could be often described literally as a metaphor. Themes of loyalty, courage, endurance are some attributes deployed in the whole film. There is a great importance of these attributes in order to ace day to day life. Boxing refers to as an art that needs tons of energy and labor altogether with focus.

The gym is symbolized as an area that is filled with hope for miserable street kids. They join these gyms with the aim of becoming champions due to the fact they have trust on themselves. The boxers in Dunn’s gym put all their energy and concentration on boxing (Toole, 2012). We can say that they might reach to any level to fulfill their dreams which nobody but them can see as a reality.

The dream of Maggie to become a boxer begin to illuminate, giving her threads of hope as she gets equipped to get trained in the gym. When Dunn sees Maggie improving her art, he insists her to go to the manager. The manager pits her next to much stronger opposition, resulting in her losing the fight. Frankie and Maggie after the fight, gaining more confidence gradually through diligence. After some point in the film, Maggies embodies entire self-assurance.

This film is worth all the praise it got in 2004. Swank who acted as Maggie worked well with her attitude and body type as a woman who goes after what she wants (Vaux, 2012). Million Dollar Baby does not lend itself any negative critique. This film is inspirational and remarkable. I can easily say this is one of the best films of 2004.
